Medical Discussions For Medical Questions - Although we welcome queries of a medical nature in this forum, it is important to understand that in virtually all cases any opinions voiced are just that and not necessarily accurate! While our members have massive experience, an internet forum is no substitute for the views of a qualified diving referee. The contact details of those doctors authorised by the UKSDMC to act in this capacity is held at the uksdmc list of medical referees

Epilepsy and diving

Wondered if anyone could shed any light on whether it would be possible for me to get into diving given that I have a history of Epilepsy. Condition is under control (last fit over eight years ago) and I take regular medication. Has anyone out there been approved to dive who has the condition, or is it a definite no. Cheers John
