Web ring for University DO's

Hi ya all, I am DO of the University Of East London Sub Aqua Club, I have been speaking with a couple of my counterparts from other Uni's and we thought it might be a good idea to sort out a web ring for Uni clubs, maybe the DO and/or Chairperson, or just someone who can relay relevant/important info to the club.
We all seem to be in a similar position from my experience, so why not get in touch.
Send me your mail addresses if you are or know someone who mught be interested.
All the best.

Hactually.....
Something on a similar note already exists. It's called 'Unidive' and was set up in 1999 by Alex Poole, who sadly died on a dive on 15th April 2002.

Re: Web ring for University DO's

Hi Doug,

Then again you could go here:-
<a href="http://www.smartgroups.com/index.cfm" >http://www.smartgroups.com/index.cfm</a>?
and set up a Smart Group. We have a small one for our non Uni Club, and there is also a much bigger one set up for BSAC Southern Region, amongst others.

Most users recognise Smart Groups as being considerably more user friendly than Yahoo Groups, and the support is much more easily accessible as well.

As well as general posts being circulated to all Group members, other services include a Calendar function, plus Photo Albums, and many others.

I have no connection with Smart Groups, just a reasonably happy punter.

HTH

Best regards

Neil Carter
