Meerufenfushi - Maldives

Hi there. Anyone been to Meeru before? were off later in the year and would like any useful info on the dive centre, dive sites, marine life etc.

Hey Barry,

Meeru's a great island with loads to offer, but best make sure you get either a helo or speed-boat from the airport as your method of transfer, as to get there in a Dhoni can take hours, I jest you not. Meeru's well worth the trip though and you often get huge pods of dolphins running with the boat's bow-wave - both to/from the airport and often with the daily dive-boats.

The diving and sea/fish-life diversity there is good too, as it's the confluance of a number of channels, so 'cleaning stations' are myriad in that neck of the woods.
