Diving in Jordan

Guys,

The Mrs and I have opted to go to Jordan for a wet and 'cultural bits' - Petra, Dead Sea, Amman etc. A week's diving and then a few days walkabout 'doing temples' etc.

Any one dived there and able to offer info/advice/do's-don'ts etc?

I'm aware there maybe a potential lack of big pelagics and only a handful of wrecks (Cedar Pride, some tanks - any more?) etc. but hey, the Mrs wants to go on a holiday where we're not doing 2 to 3 dives every day plus night dives for two weeks solid. Can't think why ;-)

I know it's about to go noisy in that neck of the woods, but we're thinking about going in June, and by that stage, it should be down to a 'policing action'

Any advice gratefully received.

Cheers in advance.
Bren.
