No, just been to yet another food hygene courses Well it apeares that there is an increase in cod worm, so if your into cod or hake,,,,,,read on. The cod worm has always existed but in the past the fish were gutted at sea but now, due to market forces, fish in many parts are sold whole weight either straight to the consumer or supermarket/fish monger. Problem when the worm finds out that the fish is dead it burrows out of the stomach into the flesh and can be seen easly as a redish spiral mainly under the skin. How to make safe,,,,,freeze for 24 hours,,, so you might as well buy it frozen in the first place Bon apetit ! ![]()
