View Full Version : UK Holidays for singles
Need a bit of help on this one. I am looking to have a short break 3 -4 days in the England or Wales for diving. As I am a single diver I am having a few problems finding anywhere.
Do any of you know any dive centres/liveaboards that will offer me accomodation and diving.....?

Stan Hall at the Farnes - if he has a few others already on the boat - £50 a day, incl B&B and 2 fills

Look for spare spaces on the likes of Yorkshire Divers forum, and these fora!

When I first passed I wanted to go diving but had no-one to go with (billy no mates!) I eventually found these people http://www.westwalesdivingschool.co.uk/ who are based in pembrokeshire. While they are not the cheapest they do give a very personal service . I explained that it was my first uk sea dive and I ended up on a one to one with an instructor which gave me loads of confidence. They did all the guidance etc so all I had to concentrate on was my buoyancy and stuff. they even have equipment to hire i think if you dont have all the kit. They do not do b and b but there is a pub not far away that does that is cheap. PM me if you want more details.
PS there are a couple of places there with very similar names (ie schhol instead of diving school etc) but this is the only one I have ben with and can vouch for. if you phone speak to bruce or jenny who are the propietors
I would love to go on a single divers holiday, but my wife won't run with it :D
Dame shame.
