Shore based holiday at Shagra and Nakari Eco Villages.

Hi Folks,

I have booked a trip to Marsa Alam with Oonasdivers in November this year, shore based (with 4 boat dives and unlimited house reef diving) based at the Shagra and Nakari Eco villages, any reports or advice woulde be appreciated.
Especially what the weather, sea conditions and of course the diving will be like.

Any help greatly appreciated.

There have been several threads on this location in the past few months, both on the BSAC and Divernet forums. Take some time to trawl through and you`ll come up with shed loads of info and advice.

I went there a couple of years ago and had a fantastic time, as did most of the other people who posted on the various threads

Thanks Steve, I have read some of the other threads, I'll look again see if I can pick up some more info, was looking specifically for a weather/sea state report of this area in November, I have heard it can get a bit lumpy at times!

We have a trip report on Wadi Lahimi camp but that was a trip in August. From what I hear, the sea state is mostly affected by winds off the land and therefore afternoon dives tend to be rougher.
