We went to Tasik Ria for the Millenium we had a great time, the hotel was really nice we splashed out a massive ?5 per night suppliment and went for one of the beach cottages :-)

There wasn't a beach to speak of but then again we went for the diving and this was fantastic, I know the operators have changed now to Eco Divers I would think this was for the better, I didn't think much of the people who ran it when we went, I don't include the dive guides in this they were great and very helpful.

The food in the hotel was a bit limiting but that was to be expected, my friend had Nasi goreng for just about every breakfast.

On our last day we went on a trip to a volcano which was a bit of a slog but well worth it, the views were excellent, the hotel staff couldn't have been more helpful.

Lou my mate likes pineapple dacaries, the first time she thought they wer taking their time with it, when it arrived it had been prepared from a very fresh Pineapple, I think these ended up being her post dive tipple, think I stuff to the Bintang.

Enjoy you trip.
