Hi, I've acquired a second hand Northern Diver neoprene dry suit. It fits me very well, I've been hosed down by my husband (no leaks) and its in excellent condition. But its approx 2 inches too long in the leg and I can feel the creases which are a bit uncomfy. Is there anywhere (in the midlands) that could shorten the legs and refit the boots? Is this even possible? I am so dissappointed!

Also, the wrist seals (neoprene) are REALLY tight! I've worn it for about 1 hour around the house (sad) and I didn't loose the feeling in my hands but they tingled a bit. Is this ok.

Any advice greatly appreciated as I cant wait to jump into a cold, murky quarry with my husband!!!!

I suggest that you should try it underwater before you decide to alter it.

I have no experience regarding neoprene suits but have a made to measure membrane suit which is made to big to enable movement !! much more than one foot nevermind 2"!!

If you can raise your hands high above your head and also squat down it is ok - you will need that mobility

Try the above first but if you're still not happy then bite the bullet. I can recommend Seaskin (Aqualand ltd).

I had boots changed, neck seal done, and pressure test it was the cheapest I could find after shopping around and the work and service was great.
