Mexico & Turkey -advice

Hi Everyone,

Am a fairly new diver (just finished AOW) and will be going to Turkey - OluDeniz first week of October and Mexico - Riviera Maya first two weeks of Feb and wanted some advice:

a) Local Dive shop recommendations?
b) Full 5mm or Shorty 3mm?
c) any specific dives to do? (obviously cenotes in Mexico)

Hi - I have dived around Fethiye many times. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the following 2 dives .....

The Mexican Hat and Aladin's Cavern ....... don't miss them or you be kicking yourself!!!

Have lots of fun.....!!

I'm off there 8th Sept for a week to dive the caves again after some paragliding in OD a couple of days before hand .... great fun!!!

Turkey in October......I reckon a 5mm, the water will be good the surface not so good. \but if you are feeling hardy and warm a shorty is ok.

How was the diving then?? I'm sure you'll be back shortly - Do you know if they do the cavern speciality?? I was hoping to get it out of the way before Mexico
