View Full Version : Dive site maps/charts : Request for assistance
Hi
I'm looking for a supplier of good quality maps / nautical charts that also show dive sites. I've spent a while looking on the net already without any joy.
Does anyone know any companies that might stock these kind of maps? If so, please would you post name/contact information for them. I am particularly keen to get hold of a map/chart for Fiji.
Any advice gratefully received. Thanks in advance,
Chris

Chris,
Any decent chandler should be able to supply charts. Have a look at the UKHO shop (http://www.admiraltyshop.co.uk) and type Fiji into the seach to find chart numbers.

...and once you've found the number of the chart you're after, you can often get cheap second hand charts which may not have been corrected so should not be used for navigation from www.chartsales.co.uk
cheers,
Ben
EDIT: I've just looked, and they've got several starting at about £3

Probably not what you are after but Ebay has a lot of maps and charts available. However they are usually slightly out of date and you never quite know what comes up. Some the people/companies selling stuff on there have a much bigger stock available via their own websites.
But at under a fiver for a chart it can be quite good value. ie if you are not needing the very up to date navigation stuff. Most out of date charts have ALL the wrecks on unless very recent.
I usually just type in admiralty chart.
