Hi gogs,
I went to the BSAC School Rock Marine (Fred Short) at the Marina when I was last there, and I was well impressed. Loads of wrecks at all depths required. Try and get dives on the Wk. "Excellent" and depending on your experience "Los Pecos" reef. Viz was better than much of UK for same time of year and temp - well I took a dry suit, it will go wet in the later summer. It is also an amazing place to be - a bit of UK, the colonies, Africa in sight and an odd island feeling. Have fun. Watch out for the "gib money", the monkeys and the border to Spain.

....I dived Gibralter many years ago. The vis is fine but you'll need a dry-bag. There are some excellent wrecks just outside the harbour (stacked 3 high in places) & the harbour is littered with ink pots, cannon & balls from the times of Nelson; indeed he sailed from Gib en route to Trafalgar.

I dived there last year and was very impressed with the wrecks and the vis. There is a BSAC chap who operates from a scooter/dive shop near the marina/harbour. He is good safe operator and prices were good. You don't have to go far to see the wrecks, some of them are right in the harbour entrance and worthwhile having a look at.

We dived with the bloke Ann linked to - and sounds like its the same as the scooter/dive shop that was referred to previously. We found them very good - although it takes a while to get used to Steve's sense of humor. Although it says on the website that all dives are with an instructor they will let you dive on your own if you are capable. The wrecks are great with lots of life. We were diving in the summer and wetsuits were fine.
