Hi,
We have 2 spaces on our rip to Scapa Flow diving off the Jean Elaine http://www.jeanelaine.co.uk/text/fact.htm#cabins out of Stromness.
This is a liveaboard with B & B on board. The accommodation is in twin berth (see web site) cabins. The evenings are spent tied up where you can obtain an evening meal ashore (PUB etc) or as shown on the site there is self catering facilities available.
Air and 12/15ltr cylinders and wieghts are also available with Nitrox available as an extra cost. You can also hire 7ltr side slungs locally http://www.scapascuba.co.uk/.
The dates are 25th August - 1st September 2007 and most importantly the cost is £241.67 for the weeks diving/accomadation.
Getting there is down to yourselves. You can either travel up by car/ferry via Scrabster - Stromness, or if you prefer you can fly with BA to Kirkwall.
BA give a baggage allowance of 23kg plus another 23kg for sports equipment which includes dive gear. This is in fact how I'm travelling up with my buddy.
The trip has been organised by Whitehill SAC and will be run as a BSAC exped.
If you are really interested please PM me ASAP so I can pass details on to the organiser.
