Diving in Truk 6-18 March 2008

I have booked and paid for an eleven day trip to Truk for next year, staying at the Truk Stop Hotel. Originally, I had wanted to go on the live-aboard, "Thorfinn" until I heard that it had hit a reef and the news is that it will be operational in November/December this year (we shall see).

There is a large single supplement for the hotel, and wondered if there were any single travellers out there who were planning such a trip. I'd be happy to share accommodation/have a dive buddy for the week to reduce this supplement.

Well me and my friend are going the week after that and we're still going aboard the thorfinn. maybe it would of been better if you'd stayed on the liveaboard. :s

I'd check that Thorfin will be operational by March 2008. I know they are still taking bookings, with the option of offering land based accommodation if the boat is not ready.
