How do you change the "New Forum Member"

I have looked at http://www.bsacforum.co.uk/forums/faq.php?faq=vb_user_maintain#faq_vb_custom_status

which I think is for this but I still cant find the option in my profile..

I expect the answer is that it is linked to the Reputation dots, and can only be customised when you have a certain number ... ??

On that note http://www.bsacforum.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=564 said I can see my Reputation dots in my profile .. But (I am being stupid here, yet again) I cant find them. Perhaps I dont have any yet ??

Sorry for being such a pain, particularly if it is all explained somewhare else which silly me could not find.
Would someone mind clarifying for me please ..

You get to change the title in your profile when you have made x number of post but not sure on the number on this forum, on others its 50 posts.

As for you rep, look at the top menu bar and click on user CP to see the rep people leave for you.

Not sure of number of posts is a factor, only you can find that out, but.

1. Look at top of page "User CP" - click.

2. Look left of screen and click on "edit profile"

3. Its in "optional user information" - "Custom user title"

of course in order to do all this you have to be a fully registered user/member of BSAC, if your not fully registered go lower down to "additional information" and put in your BSAC details.

As for the green dots - watch..... ooh your 187 now....

You get those from other forum members when you add something useful to a discussion.

Thanks for all the help .. I get it now..

I could not see any ratings as I had none. I have two now :D ..
I need to get my BSAC membership sorted and on here to get all the options (makes sense), its in progress.
