Hi,

I am a total plank when it comes to computer technology - How do I upload photos? I have opened up my own folder and selected the photos that I want to display, clicked on upload but it doesn't want to accept them.

Is there something that I have missed?

In the gallery?

I just added a few by going to the gallery, clicking on 'upload photos' then selecting the photo's I wanted using the 'browse' button. If you follow the steps its pretty straight forward

Hope that helps :)

I use photobucket http://photobucket.com Once you've an account with them, you can upload pictures to their website and then use the IMG Code to insert the image into the thread or just include a link. It's free as well.

I have found this in this forum's sticky:-

UPLOADING FILES

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

To upload a file, you carry out the following:

1. Create a new thread or post in an existing thread

2. Add some text to describe what you are uploading.

3. Scroll down the screen below the text box to where it says additional options, and the second section down says manage attachments. Click it

4. A pop-up box will appear showing a list of file types and the sizes allowed for each file. At the top of that box it says "upload file from your computer"

5. Click the Browse button and it will give you an explorer window from which you can select the file. Double click on the file you want, and the path to it will be shown in the window.

6. Click UPLOAD and the flie will appear as an attachment in the original post.

7. Click submit reply and the message complete with file will be displayed as a post in the forum you selected.

Any problems with the above, please do not hesitate to contact an administrator. http://new.bsacforum.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=450

I am assuming that it isa the same for photos, but as I stated at the start of this thread, I am a plank so no promises..

I have tried the simple steps as specified by Tony W but to no avail. Mayby the picture quality is too high or summat.
