Hi All

Not been on forum lately, I've been away from Diving for quite a while, but I wonder if you can help.

Can anyone advise, if hyperbaric treatment, is an advantage/successful for bone/tissue injury. A fellow motorcycle road racer, in Ireland, had an unfortunate 'off' last month, with broken limbs ,and is keen to heal quickly.

I know that some of the more affluent/sponsored, racers have had some 'chamber' treatment, and I would like anyone's opinion, if they think that this treatment is an advantage ? person in question is considering it, to get back on track as soon as.

Any comments would be appreciated.

best regards

Adele

Have a look here at the Diving Diseases Research Centre (http://www.ddrc.org/docs/hyberbaricoxygentreatment.htm).

ok was beaten to it with the DDRC link which is who i would have recommended to talk to but try http://www.hyperbaricireland.com/, and http://londondivingchamber.co.uk/index.php?id=contact&page=11 to locate other chambers near you...

You'd probably need to contact a chamber direct to see if they'd be happy to treat you anyway?
