A new dive pool is to be opened in time for the Expo 2008 next year.

Centro Acuático Polivalente de Aragón, near Zaragoza, for those who like the odd tipple its the beginning of the Rioja region !

This will be a state of the art pool beating Nemo 33 into second place with a depth of 40mt.
The original plan was to build to 50mt but legislation in Spain limits diving to 40mt, (although there is an exception rule to 55mt or 1.3ppo).

Its an exciting project as we have few and far between inland sites.

The Aragon section of FEDAS have a web page on the project but have little more than pics of Nemo 33 http://www.mundofree.com/faras/

Well remember you heard about it here, just another reason to visit Spain,,,

Ooo yes please. Had a great time in Nemo and def one for the winter road
trip. Much more exciting than the SETT, plus you can see the bar at 20m ;)
