Hiya,
Just come across this section, and what a nice idea I thought.
Then I remembered, ahrrr:( I lost my reel and DSMB on the 6th May, a few weeks ago now, just out of Swanage.
DSMB still rolled up and reel wound, connected together by a nice stainless clip. The DSMB has:
M H
1105
Written on it.
The only time I can think that it may have gone is when we were pulled back in the boat fully kitted up, it must have got caught on the side of the boat and went off for a swim or sink.
