hi y'all!!!
new member here and recently qualified BSAC OD.....got the bug and so "negotiated" with the better half that cos of the last 4 months not being able to go away (so i can complete my OD course!) - now I've passed we'll go somewhere she's always wanted to go - croatia...... the deal was we'll go to croatia IF i can fit some dives in whilst there!!!! (see, knew that negotiation course work sent me on would pay off one day!)
we're staying on the island of Brac - - funnily enough, the hotel I "chose" happens to have its own dive centre!!!!!!!! what luck!!!!!!!!!
two questions........
1 - anyone dived out here, or in this region - - if so any advise, tips etc?
2 - the resident dive centre connected to the hotel is an SSI centre......I'm not too familiar with this organisation, but have emailed them to let 'em know I'm coming, what little experiece I have but what qualification i have (nitrox too!).......... can anyone shed any light on SSI and of course I'll only dive within my limits/qualification, but anyone know any info i should be aware of when i go diving with these guys??
