Was a fair few years ago, but I seem to remember the European Dive Centre was very good - stick it in Google for more details, seems to be mentioned quite a lot.

Hi,
Worked out in Bodrum for the Aegean pro Dive Centre for around 7 years as a dive guide / instructor and found they are the biggest and the best. Quite a few centres out there to choose from most of them situated around the marina and to be honest most of them visit the same dive sites. The Aegean Pro Dive centre however is owned / Managed by Murat & Brenda and is the most proffessional set up as Brenda is from the USA and her husband Murat studied at university out there so you can imagine it is quite "Americanised" so to speak in their sleek operation.
Like most centres they offer a pick up / drop off service in the Bodrum area.
Please put a search in on the website for the contact details
Any further queries please do not hesitate to e-mail me direct on my personal e-mail
I was in Turkey last week and as a website for divers, I visited some diving centers. Prices are about the same and they all offer to get the people to their resort.
However, my preferences go toward 2 diving centers for the quality of their material and their professionalism:
Erman Dive: www.ermandive.com (info@ermandive.com):)
Motif Diving: www.motifdiving.com (motif@motifdiving.com):)
Be aware, each resort works usually with a diving center and the quality of the services is for some of them far to be great. I would say it's a very good idea to get information before leaving as well as contacting a good diving center by email. The 2 diving centers I gave you the contact's information, are very quick to answer.
Good dives.

Hi,
Again two decent dive centres but there boats can sometimes be a little crowded.
At the end of the day All of these centres dive the same sites, mainly located around Black Island.
Big and small reef are well worth a visit.
At the end of the day you have your money in your pocket and its up to you which center you choose.
I would propose that for more information you e-mail Laurie Cummings a friend of mine who worked out in Bodrum for 15 years, he wrote a book on the dive sites and you will pick one up from him really cheap.
His web site is as follows :

or check the link through my own website, he will be more than happy to help
Hope you get sorted and have a fab time

Hi everyone
I'm off to the Bodrum area myself, tomorrow.
I want to get a few dives in. I have made contact with Motif diving
they seem like a nice bunch.
I have three other Q's about this area if anyone can help.
1. I have a 3mm full length and 3mm shorty will I get away with these preferably the shorty in Bodrum at this time of the year?
2. Are there any dive shops over there to buy some cheap fins and masks for snorkeling with the kids? Taking kit on an aeroplane is difficult, I can then leave stuff over there for next time.
3. Any general tips or advice? I have never dived out of the UK or been diving without my usual dive buddies or club. I'm Ocean Diver (Still) just a couple of bits left for sport. For those who don't know me, I've done 20-30 dives now and been at it for about 12months.

I expect you will need a full 5mm suit as the water can still be cold at this time of year. If you do take your shorty to cut down on baggage you can always supplement this by renting ;)
2. Are there any dive shops over there to buy some cheap fins and masks for snorkeling with the kids? Taking kit on an aeroplane is difficult, I can then leave stuff over there for next time.
Kit for the kids can be purchased out there. Most of the dive centres are located in Bodrum marina ;)

I am sure you will be fine and like all centres , buddied up to suit your experience levels and skills in the water
Hope this helps, have a fab time and let us all know how you get along:cool:
