I used these guys they looked after me very well as i am a novice

I agree. i was diving out there in January and dived with 3 organisations:

Underwater barbados - decent kit, fantastic briefings, environmentally aware, RIB, very chilled and laid back pace.

Dive Barbados - nearly new kit, english owner/guide

Diving Adventures Barbados - good kit, excellent dive guides, large hardboat great for kitting up and lying in the sun!

Dive Barbados is good and send my regards if you use him.
If you are staying further up North then I would recommend Reefers & Wreckers.

I personally didn't have a good experience with Hightide Watersports, but that's just me!
