Im organising my Hols for Sept and we are going to Barcelona, but want to get some diving in at the end of the holiday.

Can anyone recommend towns to stay in / Dive centres they have used in the past?

Depending on your transport I would think L'estartit (about 90 mins north) great diving, a marine reserve (Medas Islands) and quite reasonable in Sep.

Apart from that I believe that Tossa Del Mar has some diving. But for me L'estartit wins

Agreed. L'Estartit is a great place to dive. I went with Calypso divers!

Thanks for the replies.
Not having dived there before I now have something to go on.

Still at a guess there will be more fish, better vis and it will be warmer than Strangford Lough:D ! (common haunt).

Cheers,

Or you can go carp fishing on the Ebro. biggest 52lbs 2 oz, the wife was catching them over 45lbs, or you can go to Estartit if you must dive!:D
