Thought it was about time that I re-registered. The past three months have been extremely 'busy' for me and I have had very little time to sit at the PC.
I'm one of the old fogies who started diving back in 1964 in the days of twin-hosed valves, 1800psi tanks and home made wetsuits. I've dived every year since, all over the world and I'm pleased with the advances in equipment design - it is so much more comfortable now than it was at the start or perhaps I'm just getting soft in my old age.
My only regret is living so far from the sea which means I can't dive anywhere near as often as I would like. I'm fortunate that my whole family dive. My wife is my regular dive buddy and my two 'little' lads (both in their their 20's and considerably taller than me) are also keen divers and make good porters for my wife and I.
