Superb suit, excellent service and support from O'three and fast as well, example-
1. Needed some p-valve sheaths in a hurry, rang them Thursday lunchtime, where delivered to me Friday morning!
2. Took my suit in as the neck seal was look tatty expecting to buy a new one for about £50, also zip was very manky at one end, expecting to pay £150+ for a new one... they examined my suit and simply restiched and glued neckseal seam (made it tight again in the progress) and riveted and patched over the manky zip end.... all FOR FREE!!!! I paid just £15 to have it posted back to me.
Can't reccomend them enough, they've bent over backward to help me and made a comfortable and very hard wearing suit, since then 3 of my buddies have bought them and all are very happy.

Brillant! The suit is tough and hard wearing, yet supple and flexible enough to give great comfort and make it easy to dive with. I’ve had 4 compressed neoprene suits and the Ri 2/100 is by far the best. I do find the zip a bit of a struggle because it is a heavy weight one. I wouldn’t go for a medium weight zip though because I value the durability and security.
Cheers. John
Thanks for that I bought one and havent wore it yet.

Hi James,
Just wondering how you'd rate the Ri 2/100 now after a year - I'm thinking about a new drysuit myself now and will be down in Portland weekend after next... might as well pop in and take a look (as I will be telling my wife :) ). I'm currently using an Otter neoprene suit that's seen better days (and seems to have shrunk slightly over the years... :o ).

Hi guys,
I have recently come into some money, because of the source (death in the family) I would like to spend it on a dry suit that is going to last for a fair old amount of time and is a good quality one, I have been looking at the O’Three Ri 2/100. Could anyone give any recommendations or comments about this suit? If I do decide to go with it this will be my first one, if you think there are others more appropriate then please any tips/pointers would be welcome
Cheers

Hi I bought one I have no regrets.
Thanks

Cheers, You recon it will be ok as a first suit or would you go for a cheaper one?
Pete
If you have the funds to buy the Ri 2/100 I would go for that one, money well spent.
Thanks

A good suit makes more difference to your diving than any other thing you will buy. Don't buy cheap.

I bought a new one 3 years ago and its still going stronge...after a good few years in leaky second hand suits it did make a real difference to my diving...
Superb suit, it will be money well spent... and they have superb customer service.

Just as a note, I believe Othree are making front zip self donning Ri's now... I would suggest you get a front zip rather than a shoulder zip.:)

I purchased one earlier this year - gets a big thumbs up from me! I'd also recommend getting a good base layer like the O3 PBB (which I also have).
The biggest difference from most other suits is that it's neoprene. This is often seen as a bad thing due to changes in buoyancy at depth and associated loss of thermal protection (due to the neoprene being compressed). However I had a neoprene suit before the O3 (it was an Otter) and didn't have any such problems - I've never dived in a membrane, but neoprene worked for me, so I stuck with it. The O3 suit is only 2.1mm thick, so you kind of get the best of both worlds.
I dived a couple of weeks ago with only the PBB as undersuit, and I was only a tiny bit chilly by the end of the dive. You can always double-up with another base layer (or other layers). But for me, the suit + PBB does me fine during the "normal" British diving season.

Speaking as one who owns a front entry O'Three :D yes the front entry is great. However you can only get in in the custom made one - not the off the peg version.
I'd also suggest getting the big cargo pockets and p-valve.

Oh, one thing while I think of it - being very nice suits made by a very nice company, they're also popular, which means there can be quite a wait for getting suits altered/custom made. I'd order it a good couple of months ahead of when you plan to use it (give them a ring to find out what their order to delivery time currently is).
As you probably know, they do "off the peg, made to fit" - whereby you get an off the peg size, and they tailor the neck seal/cuffs/boots etc. to fit - or a fully custom made suit. Mine was "off the peg, made to fit", but the tailoring still took a good few weeks.
