This is a personal offer not in any official capacity.
I have a copy of a video produced by David Ainsley of Porpoise Dive Charters http://www.sealife-adventures.com/
near Oban that I have converted to DVD format.
The video shows some excellent examples of the fine underwater life that can be found in and around the Firth of Lorne including diving on the Corryvrechan pinnacle.
The area of the Firth of Lorne has been designated as a Special Area of Conservation but there is concern over the continued damage that is being caused in the area from scallop dredging which is damaging not just the seabed but also the rocky reefs that characterise the region.
The offer
I have the agreement from the author of the video to circulate it as widely as possible.
I have 10 copies of the DVD which I will post to the first ten people who contact me by PM with their name and address and agree to the requested promise below.
The catch?
I would simply ask anyone requesting a copy to promise to make further copies (ten?) and circulate them further?
Whether you then choose to do this by making a similar offer as a sub posting to this message or by other means (such as using other Fora such as YD, MCS etc.) I don't really mind as long as it circulates the message as wide as possible.
Jim:cool:
