Hi All
Is there anyone running a Boat handling coarse with a couple of spare places ?, Will travel but the closer to Harrogate the better.
please please please.
Ta Mark
i have just applied for a boat handling course with my club... not sure when it will be running. OR THE LOCATION! BUT it will probably close to manchester.
Ask your DO if you are part of a club... or check out this (or you clubs) website for any courses that are running....
hope this helps

I thought the Boat Handling course can't be run on a inland site ???
im not too sure... maybe i have it wrong then.
I haven't recieved the full details or confirmation as of yet... as i said... i have only applied. I think the theory is at Hollingworth lake.

Yeah, fairly sure the final bit has to be in tidal waters - seem to remember that being the reason mine got cancelled a few times, because while we could have done it in the marina it wouldn't have gave us the necessary experience.
That said, there's no reason that some initial practice can't be got at inland sites.
