Mt Batten has free parking - but cost approx £10 per day RIB berth on pontoon.
Queen Annes Battery charge for parking as well as pontoon fee.

hi, Paul, spotted you elsewhere I think!! :)
I beg to differ at Mt Batten its £15/day if your a resident
but as a non resident its £30/24hrs/RIB with a further £5 / 24hrs to park/ vehicle.
On top of that if you cancel for bad weather they bump you for the fact you have booked with them.
Hence the question?
cheers Steven
At Mountbatten you can launch for free then leave the car and trailer on the road or in the big car park. Motor round to the public ferry pontoon the other side of the hotel and load your divers up on the back of the ferry pontoon.

I dived from mountbatten last Sept at the weekend and the big car park on the opposite side of the road was totally free and virtually empty.

thanks for that woz and everyone else but there is still the problem of where to leave the RIB overnight for 3 nights!!!
we couldn't get it in the free car park last year and we wouldn't want to leave it overnight there anyway, so we are still looking at £30/night/ RIB.
thoughts please??

Here is a bit of a long shot.
Next to the Mountbatten center there is a yaught repairing place, it's right next to to the slip way.
I noticed last summer a couple of dive club ribs sitting in their boat yard with the divers kitting up
It could be worth finding out the name of the boat yard and giving them a ring
perhaps offer them a few quid, you never know yourn luck.
