Choice of camera

I am looking for a small lightweight digital camera for going overseas with, nothing too expensive, can anyone make any recommendations.

Have looked at the 860G Camera & DX-860G Housing, looks, ok, anyone who has used this any comments.

If you can, the v. best person you can go and talk to is Paul Duxfield at Cameras Underwater which are found inside Ocean Leisure, Embankment, London.

I had a long conversation with Paul yesterday, at DIVERSE 07, about a camera and he was exceedingly helpful. He didn't give me the hard sell. He asked me what kind of diving was I doing and what did I need to achieve and recommended a Cannon. I didn't take notes as I am going in to see him when I have more time. But how he dealt with me and the advice he gave me was so helpful that I want to go and buy a camera off him. And I am looking for something small, light, dinky, digital and for use above and below the surface that is economical.
