Does anyone have any info about battery life in Suunto Mossies? Seems a bit short to me. Also it mentions in the handbook it's OK to do a d-i-y change. Anyone got any experience of this? Thanks folks!
The battery lasts less than a season - on a plus point changing it is easy. Just buy the kit and use a BIG screwdriver or a 2p piece.

Depends what you class as a season! I've got one that has done 400 dives this year and is still going strong! But the DIY factor is a bg plus over my Stinger and D9.
Done it, battery change is easy.
Just take care with the case when you unscrew it - it only foes about 1/4 turn and the platic is soft, so be gentle.
somewhere like battery force will ahve the batteries for less than £5, or you can pay full whack for a suunto replacmeent kit (includign o-ring), but if the o-ring isn't damaged, you don't need it.
my main proble mwith the mosquito is that the buttons are so backwards compared to the other suunto's I can never remember how to make it work!
