Hi all

I am looking for somewhere in Penzance that I can purchase O2 & Nitrox.

I have a club exped' to Penzance & want to be able to get Nitrox for the group & O2 for a CCR.

I understand Undersea Adventures no longer do nitrox.

Well, a quick Google for Nitrox and Penzance comes up with these people; there may be more:

Maybe not 'in' Penzance enough?

Any good?

David.

I think Trevair is now the closest.

I don't know what the local BSAC do.

Thanks

We will have a look at these but any alternates please let me know. I have 24 divers, so a lot of cylinders!

Any one got a spare portable blending kit? (& a spare compressor filter).?

48 nitrox fills a day for what 4days? that's more than a portable blending kit ;)
Never been diving from Penzance so can't help on the dive shop front

Are you running the Penzance trip now ?

Hi John

No Andy still is.

With two boats we have a lot of divers therefore a lot of cylinders, to get filled every night. So we don't want to have to drive too far.
The old place we used to go has closed/moved. Also we now need clean air &/or Nitrox for the majority of the group.

See your PM.

;) There is a place that sell Nitrox and trimix it about 10 min away I have phoned them and they are sending me details of their location.
We just need to contact them before we go to make sure they have enough O2

You should have asked the DLs first ?

John

There is a place at Hayle, who we are talking too. Part of it is logisitics, 48 cylinders every evening to be ready for the following morning + any stages!

The other concern is access & traffic!

Answer your PM!

Should of guessed you had already found somewhere, that’s why you’re a FC

I have answered my PM

I don't think I can add anymore to this, Gulfstream in Hayle is the closest.

I'd let them know how much nitrox you will be requiring, the local Air Products stockist doesn't carry a lot and have been known to run out leaving no O2 in Cornwall.

I think I can add more to this after talking with some people today.

Gulfstream's website says they had a temporary closure, but locals have got a different impression, check in advance to be sure.

I was also told of a camp site in Marazion that did nitrox & trimix fills!! I don't know which one though.
