Is anyone aware of a club running Advanced Diver over the coming months? I am part-way through, but it has been on hold for some months.

Did you contact Torbay or Brixham branches?
Do they not have anything running?

What parts of AD are you looking for? The only parts that are generally run as an "organised" event are the lectures. For everything else its probably best to just look for an instructor who can do the relevant bits with you.

It's the academics I need...plus a dozen or so dives.

Have you looked at the current - 2007 - syllabus. There are changes to the Advanced Diver training.
Not just a case of a few lectures and then a few dives. You are required to organise a weekends diving.
Why not contact a local branch? I know that Torbat have an AI so they could carry out AD training.

We are probably running a course at Exeter branch this year.

Quite a few regions run all the lectures and planning for AP as a weekend event. I did it in the Midlands, but I know there's some further south do something similar - might be worth looking around and maybe travelling a bit. Sorry can't recommend anything specific.
