I already have a 12, but my regular buddy has a 15 & is getting a bit fed up with my premature timing...

So I'm after a 15 or maybe an 18, must be reasonably priced & willing to post to Swansea area (unless there already, of course).:o

Thanks

Have you not considered changing to twins, twin 10s would give you the additional air you require and a good level of redundancy. After all it's just a 10L cylinder with a 10L pony

I'd second that, diving an 18L and a pony seems silly when you can get twins, even 7s or 12s would be good depending on your dive times/depths.

Yeah, I guess you're right, but I'm really thinking about the dosh - I could buy another 12 & twin it with the one I've got, but then I'd have to buy a wing as well, plus I'd still need another cylinder to cover me for a second dive of the day...

Alternatively get your buddy to get a 12 ;)

Hi.
Twin sets twice the cost with testing, especially 02 cleaning.
Twins usually cost more to fill.
Extra weight to carry, and bulky especially if diving off ribs.

I have done some big dives on my 18 ltr, OK I over blow them as I have my own compressor. (Not telling you to do that).

I have a 3 ltr pony with 80%, for accelerated deco.

But now I have a YBOD with all the gas I need, OC what a ball ache!.
