can a mod change the tilte its suposed to read

ok ive said what im doing for it.
i know what kind of system im using (submarine based)

i know what gas ill be using (plain air , decomp isn’t as hard to calculate then)

i have the basis for my decomp calcs here and a load of hard maths ahead of me.

what i would really need to know is for the design of the system the social facilities that you would theoretically like to have to enable me to design the pressure chamber for size and facilities. i know what kind of metallurgical stuff i need but i don’t know the sizes.

by social i mean

accommodation sizes and types and the facilities inside it (tea makers, tvs etc) and please give me some idea of sizes in dimensions.

food arrangements (how you would like it to be arranged not exact food types) buffet, ala cart, surprise meals. catch what you eat self catering/group self catering with supplied goods. nuked food.

living spaces/communal areas and the facilities wanted (card tables and the like

windows (doable) but will cost more.

number of people on board that you would like to see. (min max and ideals)

also any comments about the accommodation aspects or social aspects you can think off as well

thanks very much for any help. this is to design the system for all divers not what I think is best.

tea makers,Making tea under pressure could be interesting.

At 2 bar I read the boiling point of water becomes 120C and my tables don't go much above that. This is probably going to have interesting spin offs into all areas of food production. I suspect some cooking effects come from boiling off the fluid in the food and others from simple temperature effects. When these don't happen at the same rate you could get some interesting effects.

Hi Paul - when you're in Torbay, pop in & meet us at Torbay BSAC and we'll talk you through it. Send me an e-mail and we can arrange it.

Sounds like something Heston Blumenthal could play with.

Pressure cooking obviously works for some things.

hmm that is an interesting point. looks like it will be based on US army MREs and nukable foods.

it was possibly going that way anyway for ease of storage and convinance (no staff to worry about cooking)

nick.

not sure when ill be back at the moment im kinda snowed in with uniwork and when i do comback its weekends not midweek but thanks all the same. i did email torbay bsac from the website as im hoping to drag some of my uni dive club down for a few dives and wanted to have a chat re prices etc but had no reply iirc it was an AOL account linked to on the site.

so thats the food aspects sort of sorted out

any ideas on the accomdations which you would find acceptable as a minimum? i could have it as barack style bunks but i think that would be a little uncomfortable.
