Hi guys,
I'm booked onto the above course, but I'm trying to arrange accommodation nearby. Could anyone tell me exactly where it's held? The BSAC website helpfully says 'Yorkshire', but not where. I'm thinking of a handy nearby youth hostel!
Cheers,
David

David,
When I did mine it was at Temple Newsam, Leeds and I accepted excellent advice to book into the same hotel as the Instructor Trainers.
If you look up Francis Lintott on the Yorkshire Region Contacts page, I'm sure he can provide the best current advice. You will find this the best BSAC event you ever attend, enjoy yourself.

Hi Dave,
Hope you enjoy it.
The ones I taught on last year were in Bradford.
I'll be there on the 13 and 14 as well but don't know where we're staying.
If you have any probs drop me a PM.
Cheers

Hi Garry
I think the pool we use at Bradford is OOA and Leeds is the likely location (International Pool?)
Similar question from me. DL here, booked on the 'Southern' IFC in February 2007. Flying from Guernsey to Southampton - does anyone know where the course will be held to book some accommodation etc.
Thanks

As far as I know the Leeds International Pool will be the venue. There is a Travelodge about 100 yards away or Crowne Plaza just across the road (just in case the union are paying for you to come!!). There are lots of hotels in the general area - don't go too cheap as you get what you pay for. £25 really will get you a room in a brothel!!
I have passed the email you sent to Hils onto Frank so hopefully he will get back to you to confirm this.
