Hi Jenny
You're much more likely to see whale sharks on your diving travels than blue whales! I've been fortunate to see whale sharks 3 times now: in the Red Sea (we snorkelled with one above the Thistlegorm a few years ago), in Djibouti and again last week in Galapagos. They are awesome creatures.
Good luck
Maria

Hi Jennie,

I haven't seen a Whale Shark or Blue Whale but we did get a lot of interest from a few Oceanic White Tips on Elphinstone a couple of months ago.

One came literally face to face with me! It was fantastic!:D I even managed to get a picture as he swam over me - extreme close up.

I would love to see a Whale Shark too, as well as Manta Rays, Cuttlefish (I've seen baby ones about an inch long, but not adults) and my favourite, Hammerheads.
