View Full Version : Found: McMahon Reel and AP Autoblob - MAGS BSAC 86

Just lifted this from YD - do we know which branch is 86


On Sunday I found a reel and autoblob on the bottom near the St Dunstan which looked like it had been there for some time. There were barnacles on both the reel and the cylinder.

I brought it to the surface, tried the bottle and it worked too! Not bad.

The markings on it were MAGS BSAC 86, anyone know this man or woman? If so, can you get them to get in contact and describe the rig and it will be returned.

I will be at Stoney from 13-19 Nov

I am Mags and yes I am from the Ilfracombe & N Devon Sub Aqua Club

I cant beleive you have found my real and SMB - I lost it in September on one of our Rib away trips.

It would be great to get it back - Would it be possible for you to let me know how much for packaging and postage back to me please? (It would help stop the chat on how much kit I have broken or 'thrown away' this year:) )

Mags, come monday I am in Stoney all week on a course, then off to France with work from 19-23 Nov, so if you want it back before then you need to get your address to me by lunchtime tomorrow.
