Which centres can I dive with as a BSAC Ocean Diver?

I am due to start my BSAC ocen diver course in the new year and am a complete novice to the diving scene. It may seem a stupid question but when qualified is it a case that when abroad I am able to dive with any operator/centre or just at a BSAC centre.

BSAC OD is the equivalent of CMAS one-star. Get yourself a little plastic card from HQ and you will be able to dive anywhere. CMAS 1* allows you to dive with a more experienced diver and is a widely understood qualification. You will be able to dive with any centre not just those that are (or understand) BSAC, but you may find the local regulations are different to the UK.
