Today our Club was invited along to another pool to help out
with Snorkelling and Try-Dives.
This event was part of a local village event. The local school and
local pool were involved. We ended up with 19 Snorkllers and 17
Try-Dives. A lot of very positive feedback everybody enjoyed the
day. It went very well. Our Area Coach came along. Plus our local
member on the sports council. This was a very good bit of PR for the
Club. Local newspapers were also involved.:)
It's looks like we are also setting up a Snorkelling Club at this pool but still
linked with the Club. There were so many 8, 9 & 10 years who really
enjoyed the Snorkelling then coming back for 2nd and 3rd goes. Each
session was limited to 20 mintues. This was 12.30 until 4pm.
I had set the smaller pool up just for the Snorkelling with different games
that could do and races. It went very well.:)
