You muppet.

Are you heading offa to Stoney on the 27th for a celebratory St. Janos day dive? (Posted publically in case any forum members want to work off a bit of turkey and see the UK premier of me flailing comically in the rebreather)

JanosNo. Am in Devon. Pottering out to Hand Deeps and JEL on 28th if you want to join us. You can dust off your OC gear if you feel a little cowardly.

Hum. Tempted. Although it means mucho driving. What time is ropes off and what depth are you planning on Hands Deep? If "us" includes Mrs. Woz then presumably you'll be shallow?

JanosDunno what time ropes off is but it will be gentle as it's post Christmas. And yes, as Missus Woz is an OD we won't be seeing the bottom. But apparently all the kelp has died off at the top and there's 15m viz out there at the moment.

That's what I thought.

I wonder if Janos fancies a trip half way down Hand Deeps? :)

Possibly. I'm up in Hull for Christmas, and would like to get a few hours in over the festive period on the box. I'll definitely be in some sort of quarry on the 27th, and if that goes well then I'd be up for the sea.

But Plymouth is a long way from London. I'll have a think and let you know, but I'll probably end up making the decision closer to the time, if not on the day. I'm sure there will be spaces.
