I suffered from several bouts of decompression sickness in the 80's, I am now going on holiday to Egypt. The chance of diving again will happen. If I were to to get hit again will I get treated correctly? Are my HSE commercial diving certificates, including mixed gas, sufficient for holiday diving? Gavin.

Hi Gavin,
First off, I can only speak for Sharm and not the rest of the Red Sea but, in answer to your Q - yes you will be treated correctly, the recompression chamber in Sharm is possibly the best in the world due to the number of cases it sees.........
In answer to your Q re certs, it should not be a problem with the bigger/english centres (Camel/Emperor/Ocean College) but not with the smaller ones. PM me if you have any other Q's.
