HI All,

This mornings Metro (a widely read, free London paper) carries a version of the below URL story-
http://www.divernet.com/news/stories/wreckrespect241103.shtml

The Metro's version states that the MOD have yet again turned the application down the the relatives group is now seeking to have the goverment overule the MOD by threatening to take the matter to a european court.

This is a troubling development, we "got off" lightly from the MOD's initail wreck ban (despite a couple of them being firm favourite dives of mine :(

The banning of diving on non-military wrecks could lead to a number of popular wrecks being considered if these people get their case heard widely enough and a story in the Metro is pretty wide- trust me.

Thoughts anyone?

BEN

Hmmm.

May I post a final reply from a similar thread on YD, which I think sums it up.

Hi mate.
Nothing is aimed at you, People with ulterior motives or agendas do Google searches for subjects like this, and a whole lot of damage can be done, just by folk getting hot under the collar and maybe saying things, when they might better not being said.
