Outbound From Heathrow

Has anyone flown out of Heathrow in the last month ?

If so, what was the experience like as regards checking in ?

I'm flying with KLM out of T4 in a few days time c/w dive kit
and camera case, just not sure what to expect......

Hi Steve

I have used Gatwick as recently last weekend. The only restrictions we found
you are not allowed to take liquids through in hand luggage what so ever.
You are ok if it's in with your main case etc. Took my dive kit through some
of the guys had cameras. They just kept the cameras to the smaller ones because again they didn't how things were going to be. We were diving out
in the Red Sea.

No problems coming back. Hopefully this is of some help. How big is you camera case?

Hi Steve,

I flew to Cyprus last week from Heathrow T1. No problems with hand baggage, I had a rucksack containing laptop, various bits of diving kit and had no problems. They do still seem to have a thing about liquids but other than that I had no additional problems.

Thanks for the feedback based on your own experiences. Always reassuring
to hear from those who have actualy experienced the reality....

At least my camera case just falls within the dimensions allowed for cabin luggage. I will put the O ring lube and silica sachets in my hold baggage.
