Ben
Your trips sound great. If you could manage to sling together a report on seal diving at the Farnes (for instance) especially if you could gather a few pics, I would be glad to publish on our UK North East page for you. We have a few reports on the Farnes, but wierdly nothing that really concentrates on the seals..

Same goes for your other trips.
Great initiative.
Thanks

Just back from seal diving at Farnes.
Truly magical.
Actually "played" with a recently born seal pup (you could still see the vegtable dye that is used to mark them by the wardens counting the numbers born!)
The pup was accompanied throughout the encounter by his mother at arms length. Quite a sight.
The boat will be heading out from Seahouses this Saturday 17th Dec.
(Weather permitting... at this point it looks good!)
Drysuits a MUST.
Warm kit essential!
If you would like to come along then please contact me asap 07932 577608 or e-mail bburville@hotmail.com
All divers will be responsible for their own dive plans/ profiles and will be asked to sign a disclaimer regarding seal bites etc..
Yes it's on the risk assessment, but I'll want your signature to state you understand!!
Best regards,
Ben.
PS water temp was 9 C .. so not too bad. Vis at depth (i.e > 15m) about 7-8m and in shallows about 4-5m.
