Hi All

Hopefully one of you IT guys can answer this.

I am looking for terminal emulation software that can mimic the Televideo 905, 910 etc.

I want to replace the existing Terminal with a link to a PC running Windows XP. I want something that I can configure to look just like the Televideo screen, which auto starts & the user won't be any the wiser!

(Actually it will have another application running as well, an MMI, which he can switch too, but this is for diagnostics on another part of the system!)

Thanks in anticipation

Gareth

Hi maybe some of us older IT guys might remember terminal emulation software. Try "Step" this worked well when I used to do this.
found this link to it.

Hi Gareth, I use Tera Term Pro at work to connect to our old call systems, from an XP Pro PC. It works perfectly well, and you can alter the screen size etc... Think it is freeware....if you have problems finding it I might be able to get you a copy.
Cheers,

You can download Tera Term here http://www.ayera.com/teraterm/
It's freeware so fill yer boots.

I don't think it does TV905/910 though

Gareth,

It's not free but Procomm Plus from Symantec has Terminal Emulation and I have just checked on my copy (Running on an XP machine) and it has TVI (Televidio?) 910/912/920/925 listed as one of the default settings.

We use Procomm+ mainly because we haven't found anything it can't emulate!

Hope that helps.
