Check this link www.500feetdive.net and please give me a bit of feedback. The scandinavian dive community thinks we lost it:D

What feedback do you want exactly? Its not all that unusual to try depth records, 150m is fairly tame compared with what some others do. I don't see any point in it myself unless you're going to see something when you get to the bottom, but by all means carry on.

I can't say I dive these depths much, but a technical instructor once summed it up very well to me. I was diving with a twinset and stage (I'd got about 10 dives on the stage at the time). He told me that he and I could do a dive to 100m and 9 times out of 10 I would make it back alive. The difference between him and me was how we would react if something went wrong.

I think the problem is in the way the site was presented.

Many of us are curious about what people are doing even if it doesn't hit a world record. The problem is "Diving a bit deeper" was used as some sort of attention grabbing gimmick. If you are going to use a gimmick you are either a complete yahoo or you are going for something along the line of a world record. This isn't a World Record attempt so we are left feeling like you are just a yahoo and to be quite honest a yahoo is a "stroke" looking to happen.

Overall if I hadn't been turned off by how the site was presented here I might have enjoyed looking through it.

Here is an interesting story about someone "Diving a bit deeper" and even then it wasn't supposed to be THAT deep.(for him) :)
