Hi Mark

I dived in Portugal last year, with Tivoli Diving in Carvoeiro on the Algarve. The diving was good; warm clear water and a good mix of boat and shore dives. I dived with a fellow Scot who wore his drysuit (although he said he wore it wherever he dived). I dived in a wetsuit with a hood, no gloves, and the water was perfectly comfortable. I hired virtually everything from Tivoli, except for boots, fins, mask and snorkel and the kit was in very good condition.

They may be a bit far along the coast from Albufeira but a Google search should show up places nearer to you. I'm sure when I looked Albufeira, Lagos, and all the major Algarve resorts were quite well catered for.

Make sure you take your medical form.

Let me know if you need any more info.

John

Hi Mark
Pitty yor so far down or we would take you out.
We get a lot of Portuguese diving in the Rias as its warm and sheltered.

If you go further round towards Cadiz there is http://www.novojetdiving.com/
