Hi all

We are just in the early stages of organising an exped for our Sea Cadet diving section in September. We are probably going to be based at Pier Cellars which is part of the Royal Navy's Training Base HMS Raleigh and is close to Rame Head.

Apart from the obvious such as the Scylla, James Egan Lane and the Eddystone, does anyone have any recommendation for dive sites in the area.

I'm particularly interested if there are any sheltered dives within the confines of the port itself in case we get blown out during the week.

I seem to recollect reading of one the start just below the QHM's Tower.

Any recommendations would be most appreciated

Cheers

Pete

This might be a good place to start:

http://www.divesitedirectory.co.uk/uk_england_south_west_plymouth.html

It's got all the popular sites listed with a nice simple location map and a few words about each site.

Cheers,
Tristan
