View Full Version : Undersuit
Hello,
This is my first post on Forum, so I will try to keep question as simple as possible. I am just about to do my first sea dive, and am trying to figure out which undersuit to combine with my ND Reef Master 4mm neoprene suit? As I plan to dive in UK all year round keeping me warm in winter weather is on top of "must do" list! Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

I also dive with a Neoprene drysuit and only started this year. I currently dive with a pair of shorts on and socks (which help to slide the boots on). Nothing else. Only dived to 19M to date and when its been cold this has only been felt in my hands. I am sure it'll get colder at which point the 4th Element stuff will come back out (I do have it and don't wear it currently as it's too warm to stand around in and not needed actually during the dive so far..)

ps: Also my first post :)
hi,
there are a number of different things you can get to go under your dry suit.
like i have you can use your normal wet suit(like mine 7mm) or you can purchase under suits from your local dive shop. hope this is a bit of help. good luck with the dive .:D

In winter i usually wear several layers of clothes and a wooly bear, and often im still cold! especially when my "damp suit" leaks around the seals, they are a snug fit, yet if i look upwards i often have a "refreshing  " gush of water pouring down making me all wet, although generally it dries out pretty quickly, its more for membrane suit wearers not neoprene (but i just wanted to put my 2 pence worth in for those who, like me, opt for membrane) :p
Guys,
Thanks very much for you answers. See you in Big Blue!:)
