Trollism.

In these days of, apparently (if one believes the news media), increasing intolerance between followers of different faiths, people of different creeds and races, short hairs and long hairs, pond divers and proper divers (:) ), DIR and the rest etc etc I wonder if banning trolls is really the Christian thing to do.

Surely we should clasp the offenders to our collective diving bosom (mmmmmm bosoms http://www.springfield-shopper.de/Main/Smilies/p7.gif) and patiently teach them the errors of their ways?

Of course the one BIG success story is the PADI/BSAC 'love in' that allows me to get out on boats without having the serious p*ss taken out of me and to bask in the warm glow of finally being accepted! :)

Well, I can tell you that in actual fact, trolls (and ogres and orcs) are in fact real (as shown on the recent Lord of the Rings documentary) and it is my firm belief that somehow, the young of the planet are being transmogrified into such irksome and bad tempered beasts.

There is doubtless an element of truth in that statement BUT when I was a kid I would never have dared to speak to people like the 7 or 8 year olds are do these days ........ at least, I don't think I did.

I would have DEFINITELY expected a clip round the ear at the very least if caught doing something wrong. Whoever thinks that the majority of human children don't need some form of discipline and "carrot and stick" upbringing are quite frankly nuts.

PS Make that a bloody big stick!

PPS: Have you seen the size of 11 year olds these days. Some of them are 'kin HUGE!!!
